Lille Metropole adopted its mobility plan on June 24, 2022 for the period 2022-2035. It will replace the urban mobility plan adopted in April 2011. It will establish the orientation of the metropolitan mobility policy for the next 15 years. Alongside mobility, Lille Metropole made the Tour more sustainable. The main way to do so was to raise awareness on waste management among metropolitan inhabitants and visitors. The starting site and the streets of the city were equipped with litter garbage cans. Lille metropole asked the participants to be respectful of the cleanliness of the public space.
